As far back as I can remember, I was daddy's restaurant critic. The family would go out for a meal and he would ask me to assign the restaurant a grade: A,B,C,D - based solely on the food. Growing up in the kitchen with its familiar smells, sounds, different tastes and family brings back such fond memories and at the age of 6 is where I believe my passion for food began. With this appetite always in my heart, I decided to enroll at the CCA and the Sommelier Society of America; thus began my professional foray into the culinary world. Growing up on Guam provided me the opportunity to experience many cuisines without it being Americanized. Living and eating in food meccas such as San Francisco and New York helped to solidify the overall dining experience. I am lucky and fortuante to be living the life I am passionate about: family, food and all the encompasses it.
